Karen Knight

Biography

Karen Knight lives in Tasmania.  She has written five collections of poetry.  Her work has been widely published in overseas and Australian literary journals and anthologies, including Best Australian Poems 2005.  Karen has won various awards, the most recent being 2007 Arts ACT Poetry Prize for her current collection Postcards from the Asylum which was released by Pardalote Press in August, 2008.  In April 2007, Karen spent four weeks in Edinburgh as part of the Varuna Writers' Centre and UNESCO/City of Literature exchange Programme.
